Clean Water
Almost one billion people do not have access to clean water around the world including people in Ghana. No clean water in Ghana causes 25% of deaths to children under the age of five. Most people there get their water from long walks to find a well, or they go to lakes, ponds, rivers etc. They have no systems there to clean their water so most of the water ends up being full of dirt. There has been a song produced by two males that were born in Ghana and the song is called "Clean Water." The song is to help provide clean water for people who live in Ghana. The musicians hope that the money they raise will help buy clean water systems for people in Ghana.
Alternative Income & Agriculture
Ghana is a beautiful country with lots of potential but they can't really prosper because they are a very poor country. Fortunately they have a few forms of alternative income and agriculture to help them to live in shelters, have clean water and go to schools. Some of these forms of alternative income are making art and crafts to sell at markets. There are also gold, silver, limestone and other types of minerals to sell. Ghana doesn't just have art and minerals to sustain them but they also have agriculture such as fisheries, crops, fuel, rice, cows, and wheat just to name a few. Even though Ghana has these things, the country still needs help and money.
